Who is Project AWHI?
Project AWHI is a Community Aid & Development Charity, assisting children, families and whole communities in need within New Zealand and the Pacific.
We do this by providing those in need access to skilled development teams, resources and funded frontline projects that communities themselves determine are needed to transform their community and their lives. "Transformation" can be any thing from better housing, education for their children, food security, employment and so on. Where does Project AWHI work ?
In a number of communities through out New Zealand & the Pacific the level of child poverty is disproportionately high. Aspects of abuse, food security (having enough to eat), health, and educational achievement are areas of concern for identified "at risk communities". Project AWHI is a fully registered charitable trust, and has charitable status both within New Zealand and the United States.
