Written by: Heidi Kittredge

AWHI received notification from our Rwanda partner, Bishop Theophile Rugubira that 90 out of 120 women completed their microloan training and received their microloans.

The training includes an assessment of their communities’ needs, business resource needs, how to manage quantity of product to the amount of sales, loan repayment accountability, and the importance of saving the profits.

We cannot wait until January 2024 to hear the women’s testimonials and the impact on lives since receiving their micro loans.

Microloans allow women to start their own businesses. Microloans allow women to provide food for their family.

If a poor women can launch a small businesses they can start to earn enough income to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

A woman’s confidence grows as she begins to see herself as a significant part of her family and community.

Microloans are a sustainable way to change and transform lives.

Our donors are our partners. Your partnership makes a real impact on the life of a Rwandan woman and her family.  So thank You from the bottom of our hearts! If you are interested in partnering with AWHI, visit:
